Charisma Carpenter
Charisma Carpenter, who was born on July 23, 1970, is an American actress. She was a part of Cordelia Chase in Buffy the Vampire Slayer's supernatural series (1997-1999) and the spin-off show Angel (1999-04). She was also in Charmed (2004), Kendall Casablancas and Veronica Mars (2005-2006), Rebecca Sewell and Lacy in The Lying Game (2012–2013 strong>).
Carpenter was born in Las Vegas, Nevada the daughter of Christine, a bird sanctuary worker as well as Don Carpenter, a salesman. Carpenter is of Spanish, French, and German descendance (from her maternal grandfather). Carpenter was a student at Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas.[6] She was also part of a music and dance troupe that was in Las Vegas Valley at nine years old.
Carpenter Her family moved from Rosarito Beach, Baja California to Mexico at the age of 15 years old. They then moved to San Diego to California. She attended Bonita Vista High School and Chula Vista School of the Creative and Performing Arts. Carpenter has traveled throughout Europe after her graduation. After returning to San Diego, she worked as a video store clerk and aerobics instructor as well as in property management. She was a cheerleader for San Diego Chargers football in 1991. In 1992 she moved to Los Angeles.
Henry Hubbard Jr., an ex-police officer from San Diego and serial rapist was a raped victim who assaulted her and two male acquaintances while she was swimming in San Diego in the year 1991. He tried to control them with a gunpoint. The two of her friends as well as Hubbard were shot in the fight. Hubbard fled the scene but both her companions survived. Hubbard was arrested and was convicted, then sentenced to 56 years imprisonment for a string of rapes. Carpenter removed Hubbard's flashlight an official police flashlight, off the beach. Hubbard had left it at the scene. The flashlight was a crucial piece of evidence in the case against Hubbard.
Carpenter was named No. Carpenter was No. 31 on AskMen’s Top 99 desirable women 2002[30[30. 44 on their 2005 list. Carpenter declared that she doesn't consider herself a sexual symbol however she does consider herself a sex symbol. Carpenter was featured on the cover of Playboy magazine's June issue in 2004. The magazine also included her in a ten page nude photograph. People magazine asked Carpenter in 2005 if she would once again appear on Playboy. Carpenter responded "I don’t know." Playboy was a decision I made for a particular reason. It was a wise investment in my finances. I also believed it was the best choice for me. Following the birth of my son, I had gained 50 lbs during pregnancy. I wanted to be my former self. I wanted to look at ease and attractive. I was thinking: "What if you went all out?"
